When you're ready, hit B on your 3DS to back out of the QR scanner and start on EonTimer at the same time.Pick your target frame and use the main rng tool to calculate your timer value and lag - feed those into EonTimer.Enter the island scanner a couple times if you need to advance frames to land on a safe one (add 2 frames every time you enter the island scanner). Calibrate your timeline as detailed in 3DSRNGTool's wiki on github.1 Do not back out of the QR scanner just yet. Do the clockhands thing using 3DSRNGTool to find your current frame.

Open up the QR code scanner from your X menu. You want to be standing right in front of Xurkitree when hitting X, so you can initiate your encounter right after closing the X menu. After exactly 5 seconds on your stopwatch, hit the X button on your 3DS. As soon as the roaming background Xurkitree disappears behind the platform you're standing on, hit start on the stopwatch and start heading towards the Xurkitree encounter in a straight line. Do the clockhands thing before loading your save to find your new initial seed. Position yourself behind the rock that's in a straight line to the right of the Xurkitree encounter like so. For old 3DS users this time delay is going to end up being longer most likely, so maybe start from 4150. I have a new 3DS, and the value I use here is 3150, so if you have a new 3DS as well, you might wanna start from that. Basically adjust it so that if you hit start on EonTimer and B to back out of the scanner on your 3DS at the same time, the pretimer ends exactly when the overworld pops up on your 3DS. Note: Before getting into this, you should calibrate your EonTimer's pretimer to match the time it takes to leave the QR code scanner in Pokémon (where you can do the island scan thing) while standing right next to the Xurkitree encounter. The ability to match the clockhands in 3DSRNGTool with those on your screen (practice this - seriously!) A stopwatch (preferably your mobile phone or something similar) It assumes that you have done at least some stationary rng abuse in gen 7 before, or that you at least know the general procedure.Īlso, this is basically copypasta from my previous guide with some adjustments to work on an entirely unhacked 3DS using EonTimer. Like my previous guide on rng-ing Xurkitree properly with PCalc, this is not going to be a full-fledged guide meant for beginners. RNG Reporter 9.93 (WINE/Mono compatible).
